All of these photographs were taken in Bucks County, PA, either in my own or my mother's gardens, or in local parks. They are all digital. As you'll quickly notice, my favorite subjects are insects, but there are a few pictures below without anything with an exoskeleton in them. I'm fascinated by the biodiversity to be found within a few steps of my back door, and by the range of behavior exhibited by creatures not possessed of much in the way of a brain - particularly their curiosity in regard to the shiny flashing thing hovering over them at odd hours of the night. Most of the head-on shots below weren't a matter of clever maneuvering of the camera; mostly it was just a matter of clicking while they were staring.

I've done my best to identify the insects shown here, but I'm no entomologist; I apologize for any errors, and would welcome corrections.
